I spent way too many years being frustrated with my career and personal life. I felt stuck and really didn’t know what to do about it or how to get out of it.
Through a process that was part of a week-long program in 1994, I came to understand my purpose was to help other’s be successful…whether it’s my employer, a group I volunteered for, my church, whoever. What really jazzed me was to do what I could to put on an event, complete a project or lead a committee…just so it would succeed.
I didn’t do it for me or any accolades or awards, I was there to help YOU!
After writing my book The Success Grower, I realized I spent all those years being frustrated and stuck in my life in order to help others get out of the same situation. I lived through it, found my goal in life that matched my purpose and so was born The Success Grower.
I help others stop being frustrated with their life or career through coaching in one-on-one or group settings, conducting workshops on setting goals or strategic planning as well as mentoring others in a mastermind group.
We all need someone to talk to, to help us navigate the hard times, or to ask us the tough questions about our journey and be accountable to. And for us authors, it’s extremely important. It’s something we typically don’t like to do because we’re so wrapped up in our content and story and don’t think anyone else would understand.
Well, I can’t do it alone and you probably can’t either.
