Do you have a story that needs to be told?
Have you had a life experience that can be an inspiration to others?
Have you been holding onto a book you’ve always wanted to write?
If you said YES to any one of those questions, then you probably need to write a book.
I never saw myself as a writer. In fact, I hated writing in school and in college I needed a tutor just to write an essay to get out of Freshman Composition!
I eventually had an idea for a book and held onto it for nearly 10 years. I tried to write it once…and hated it…then found a more compelling way.
Publishing was a different thought that I never had, even after I started writing my manuscript.
Then I came across Kary Oberbrunner and his Author Academy Elite (AAE) publishing program. It was as if what he taught authors to do with their book was in sync with where I thought I wanted to go with my mine – The Success Grower.
I believe it was fate:
– Started writing in March 2017
– Signed with AAE in May 2017
– Finished writing in June 2017
– Holding proof copy in September 2017
– Released on December 5, 2017
Crazy, right!?!
And now, my book is a top 10 finalist in the Self Help category of the Author Academy Awards to be announced on October 26th! Now that’s really crazy!!! If you’d like to vote in the public voting, today is the last day. Just go to Author Academy Awards, go to the Self Help category and click on the image/description of my book The Success Grower. Thanks in advance!
That story you’ve been holding on to or the book you said you always wanted to write? Well, you can. And you should. You have a story that needs to be told because you never know who’s life it will impact. One person’s tragedy is another person’s inspiration. Or one person’s inspiration is another person’s motivation.
You’ll never know (probably) who’s life you will touch with your story.
So now it’s up to you. All you have to do is start.
My book, The Success Grower is about setting goals and achieving success. So set a goal to write one paragraph a day or 100 words…something. Set a simple goal, do it every day, and before you know it you’ll come to the end.
If you think writing a book is possible, go check out Author Academy Elite www.authoracademyelite.com and see how Kary can help you. Maybe you’ll be the next NY Times bestseller!
